Episode 16 - Chequamegon Recap w/ Midwest Pros Jenna Rinehart and Josh Bauer

What up party people. First off we want to give a big shout to everyone we ran into this past weekend at the Chequamegon MTB fest who let us know how much y’all are enjoying the show. It’s super cool to hear that real people are tuning in each week to listen to us bone heads shoot the breeze about the latest happenings in the world bike racing and that definitely got us hyped. Episode 14 - Maryland Cycling Classic, Dakota Five-O, and the end of an era

He and Scott both raced for the National team as they took on a handful of World Tour Teams to fight for the overall. Episode 13 - Triumph and Tragedy

What up party people! We’ve got an episode filled with highs and lows today. We start off covering the tragic loss of Sule Kangangi who suffered severe injuries from a crash while racing the Vermont Overland. Sule was stateside for a 1 month block of racing as the leader of Team Amani from East Africa. Sule’s teammates, John Kariuki and Jordan Schleck went on to finish first and third in the event in honor of their dear friend. Then we covered some more highs and lows that took place at Mountain Bike World Championships including Chris Blevins crashing out in the final moment while trying to defend his short track world champion title, Tom Pidcock crashing out of contention in the cross country race and Nino Scheurter winning his 10th world champion title. Episode 10 - All Things Leadville w/ Jeremiah Bishop

What up party people! Welcome back to episode 10 of the Bonk Bros podcast. This week we are covering all things Leadville. If you’ve been living under a rock your whole life or maybe you’re just not into racing mountain bikes, the Leadville Trail 100 is one of the oldest, hardest, and highest 100 mile off road bike races in the US, heck maybe the world. I’ve personally completed the race one time in 2017 and I’m stoked to get back there this year. With the LifeTime Grand Prix adopting this legendary race into their series, we figured it was only fitting to get our FIRST guest on the show who caries a rich history with this race himself. That’s right, we’ve got special guest Jeremiah Bishop on the air for this episode and have some good fun breaking down the past and future of Leadville. Stick around to the end to hear some bonus content after we wrap up our Leadville talk.

Episode 8 - MTB Nationals and The Best Gravel Race You’ve Never Heard Of

What up party people! Welcome back to the Bonk Bros podcast. This week we kick things off with MTB Nationals that took place this past weekend in Winter Park, CO. There were some surprising and not-so-surprising results that we cover. None of us were there or even had the chance to catch up with anyone who was and to add chaos to the matter the Flobikes coverage was kinda spotty. So all of our takes are from a birds eye view, mostly looking through Insta feeds and results sheets. After that I get into some breakdown of the Nepomuk Narly 100. What’s that, you’ve never heard of the Nepomuk Narly before? Yeah, neither had I but I’m sure glad I found out about it before race day because this was an experience I will never forget. Not only did I get to spend the first half of the race in the early break with gravel legend Adam Roberge, who by the way is just as class act as they come, but the off-the-bike experience is what truly set this race apart. Pre-race snacks, plenty of neutral aid stations, post-race activities for the whole family including food trucks, train rides, bouncy houses, and a street dance to end the night.
